While 1199SEIU is almost entirely comprised of healthcare workers in every sector of the Union, we also represent several thousand non-healthcare workers in human service organizations such as the Legal Aid Society and the New York Blood Center, and in educational institutions such as Columbia University. Most such members are grouped within Health Systems 4.
